I'm not really sure if today is the first day of fall, but I know it's soon, so happy first day of fall. Actually, if I had more dedication and energy, I'd look it up on Wikipedia for you, but I'm tired and don't really want to do much today. So research the first day of fall on your own. Thanks.
The weather has been downright fall-ish with temperatures in the 40s in the morning, 60s and 70s during the day. Very nice.
A few minutes ago, I dressed Matthew in his PJs and put him in the bed with an Elmo book. He just ran by the door with another set of PJs over the first. He's been getting up early in the morning and instead of coming straight to our room like he used to do, he now wreaks havoc plays in his room by pulling out all of his clothes and throwing them on the floor. Then he has a fashion show and dresses in various t-shirts, pants and shorts. Last Saturday, I was awakened by someone whispering "Help" in my ear. I opened my eyes to see Matthew with his arms twisted in the t-shirt he was trying to take off. His arms were suspended out perpendicular to his body, and for a minute I couldn't figure out how he had gotten himself in this predicament. But then I realized he had tried to take the t-shirt off by pulling his arms (still in the sleeves of the t-shirt) up through the neck of the shirt, essentially creating his own toddler restraining device.
Anyway, that has nothing to do with the first day of fall, but I was lacking in material today. Happy first day of fall!
