Happy Birthday, Brandon!

Brandon is now 10 years old! He has officially declared this week his 'celebration week' instead of just having a birth'day.' It started on Saturday, when he wanted to get birthday chocolate iced long johns instead of a birthday cake. No problem. Then he wanted Burger King for lunch. Alright, I guess.

Today he wanted us to bring cupcakes to his class. So Chris and I interrupted his class after lunch to provide sugar infused cupcakes to a group of already rowdy 4th graders. Then we left and snickered to ourselves as we got back in our cars and drove back to the office.

This weekend, we'll take him to his favorite St. Louis restaurant -- Fitz's. The boys will chug a frosty root beer and I'll enjoy their homemade grape soda. Maybe we'll order fried pickles. (I know, it sounds gross, but they are soooo good!)

He's gotten lots of birthday cards, gifts and phone calls -- thanks to everyone!
