Matthew officially has strep throat. Well, almost officially. The strep test came back positive, but then the doctor spoke this asterisk: 10 to 15% of children are strep carriers (bet you didn't know that) so if he doesn't respond to the antibiotic by tomorrow morning, he's a strep carrier and just has a viral infection. So either he's sick with strep throat or worse, he's a strep carrier and has a viral infection, which means a couple more days of fever. And crying. Hopefully he'll feel better soon before we all go crazy.
