Matthew-Moose

Matthew has, from time to time, resorted to canine-esque behavior, namely, panting and barking. He has also, from time to time, referred to himself as "Matthew-Moose," indicating that he considered himself dog-like. If you're not sure, "Moose" is our dog.

Tonight, he took the act to a new level by laying on his stomach on the floor in front of Moose's water bowl and ACTUALLY LICKING WATER OUT OF IT.

Just for the record: I did not encourage this behavior. He was also offered adequate liquid refreshment, so he was not thirsting to death and did not need to resort to the dog's bowl as a last-ditch effort at hydration. As soon as I saw what he was doing, I picked him up off the floor and told him in no uncertain terms that he was NOT to drink out of the dog's bowl. However, this is not unusual digestive behavior for our two-year old bundle o' raging levels of activity, as you may remember here, here and here.
