First Snow 2005

Today we awakened to a light dusting of snow on the ground. It wasn't very much, but just enough to make the roads slick and cover the cars. Matthew has never seen snow, so when we walked outside this morning, he just stood on the top step of the porch and looked around. He was quiet for several seconds (a long time in his case) and then looked over at Chris's car.

"Oh no!" he exclaimed. I said, "Look at the snow, Matthew! Isn't it neat?" To which he replied: "Oh no! Snow on Daddy's car! Oh no!" He was so concerned that there was snow on the car, he wouldn't focus on anything else.

We may be getting more snow on Wednesday night/Thursday with accumulation, so maybe I can get some good pictures of Matthew enjoying the snow. If he's not too distraught over the snow on Daddy's car.
