MOBAR

Well, the bar exam is over. Four essays in the morning, a 90 minute writing assignment and 6 essays in the afternoon. Forgive me if this post is short; my hands are tired from writing.

I opened the cover on the first set of essays and saw that two of my least favorite subjects, Conflicts of Law and Administrative Law were covered. The writing assignment was about requesting a property zoning variance for a client and the last set of essays included wills, trusts, secured transactions, commercial paper, remedies and another subject I can't seem to remember right now. Anyway, it was difficult because the subject matter was so dry.

A friend of mine from law school was also taking the exam and we had lunch together, so I wasn't totally alone. By the time the exam was over, I was really looking forward to getting home.

The boys met me at the door and Matthew was really glad to see me. With the weather going from 100 degrees to a high of 80 tomorrow, Matthew is having trouble with croup. He was already getting that croupy cough when I put him to bed. Brandon missed me, too, but he had a good day with his daddy.

Once I regain some brain cell connections, I will begin the job search. But for a few days I'm going to relax and try to get the house back in order. Maybe I'll even buy groceries again.
