We had a really good weekend. We finally hung some pictures and now the house really looks like it's coming together. I still need a couple more accessories in the living room, but all in all, it looks really good. We bought end tables and a sofa table this weekend and a couple paintings for the living room. I bought one of those big stars that I've seen in the Pottery Barn Catalogs at Gordman's for $10. I LOVE THAT STORE!!
We had a wonderful visit with Poppy today, who is here (well, actually over in IL) interviewing for a job. Brandon really enjoyed playing Super Mario with him and was disappointed he couldn't stay longer. Good luck, Poppy!
We also bought some more gear for the beach -- some toys and clothes. I think we really have more than we need to take with us, which is usually the case.
Last weekend, we went to the zoo:
This is Matthew trying to force feed a goat. It didn't work. The goat merely ignored Matthew's vain attempts to force the hay into his mouth.
This is Matthew attempting to feed nectar to a lorikeet. Moments later, Matthew dropped the cup onto his sandal, covering his foot with sticky nectar. He was not pleased with this.
This is Brandon, caught in the act of scavaging food from the stroller. Brandon is a bottomless pit. If you see him, please secure and lock away all food items as food will cause him to become manic. Except fries, he says. He does not like fries.
