Inanimate Objects 2, Matthew 0

Poor Matthew's noggin has taken quite a bit of abuse in the past 24 hours.

Exhibit 1:

Last night, after dinner, Brandon and Matthew were running around on the back deck and Matthew ran right into the corner of the grill. A very sharp corner. It immediately started to turn purple and swell up. We put ice on it and gave him tylenol. I was sure he'd have a headache.

This is Matthew re-enacting the grill incident (he's leaving out the screaming and the tears):

Exhibit 2:

At 4:30 today, I got a phone call on my cell phone. It was Matthew's daycare teacher. Evidently, Matthew ran into a door when he was trying to go out on the playground. Now he's got matching forehead injuries. Matthew's statement about the whole incident: "I bump-a head."
