Update

Sorry for the delay in posts - we've been busy. My parents came up this weekend to visit and Mom and I did some painting in my home office. I found a picture of a gorgeous room with light tan walls and a light blue/green ceiling and wanted to do that in my office. The walls were already that color, but the ceiling and trim were mustard yellow. I'm not kidding. I hated it, it was here when we moved in, but I haven't had the time to change it.

So Mom and I decided to tackle the yellow ceiling and two coats of "naive green" paint later, it's beautiful! Then we had to tackle the trim, which I decided to paint white. That also took two coats. It is all done now and I'm soooo pleased with the way it turned out! I'm thinking some long chocolate drapes hung high above the window, a chocolate/blue rug and a nice neutral comfy chair will finish it off.

Check it:

Not a great picture, but you get the idea. It's amazing what a can of paint can do to a room!

Yes, I am a HUGE fan of paint! It looks great. I wish I could paint my ceilings, but painted popcorn won't look so pretty!!
