I have received email, comments and text messages inquiring as to Baxter's due process rights. Never fear, he will have representation (if Brandon will agree to defend him) at any future proceedings. I am currently rethinking the death penalty and may consider some kind of incarceration or possibly some probation - supervised, of course.

I loved the article in the St. Louis Post Dispatch today: "Would you spend $25,000 to save your pet's life?" For many, the answer is yes. It is incredible how much money is being left to the Humane Society these days when we live in a world where people still starve to death. We know that Baxter is loved and well cared for.
