Sudoku Addicts Unite!

A friend of mine admitted on her blog that she's addicted to Sudoku. I know how she feels. I used to print one off every night and would do them right before bed. Here's proof.

Anyway, I've moved on to this new website, because the website keeps your time and when I complete the puzzle, I can find out how I did -- top 50%, 25%, and so on. This really caters to my need to overachieve, so I've been doing many, many puzzles in order to raise my score, because I'm not really happy unless I'm top 25% or better. While I realize this is ridiculous, I still can't help myself. Must . . . score . . . higher . . .

The problem with this timed game is that it is not as conducive to relaxation as just printing one out, because now I'm watching the clock and paying attention to my average score. It is also (for me) more addictive, because I'm trying to move my average time into the top percentages, so I do just one more puzzle, just one more . . . trying to bump up to the next level. It's a good thing I don't gamble or I'd really be in trouble.

I love Sudoko! Thanks to your previous post I am hooked as well. I even watch TV and do the puzzles all at the same time. It is very addicting! I prefer solving them on the computer for the same reasons as you!
