Overheard in the Salon Today

I took Brandon to have his hair cut this afternoon, and while I was waiting this conversation happened between a man and woman sitting nearby:

Woman: Have you been waiting long?
Man: [Grunt]
Woman: Look, I've been to Victoria's Secrets and they had their 5 for 25 sale on. That means they're 5 dollars a pair. And you get to pick your own colors.
Man: [Grunt]
Woman: OK, I'm going down to the shoe place to see if they can fix that thing on the shoe what keeps trippin' you. I'll be back in a little while to see if they've cut your hairs.
Man: [Grunt]

I'm going to assume this couple is married, or that they at least knew each other enough to comfortably discuss the sale at Victoria's Secret.
